| The society will being it's first official Cemetery Transcription and Cleaning event with the Marble Hill Cemetery in Saluda Township near the end of Marble Hill Road and directly across from the entrance to the defunct Marble Hill Power Plant. This is dependent on the weather cooperatin with us. Volunteers should dress for the weather. We will be documenting all the visable stones, taking pictures, and for those who are so inclined, cleaning a small area of overgrowth from stones. Personal items to consider bringing, include but are not liminted to; gloves, something to kneel or sit on such as in a garden, drinks and snacks or a bag lunch, bug repellant, a hat, or other items for comfort and care. If you have ideas on how to read hard to read stones, please bring both those ideas and supplies to help. If you want to bring a clip board or hard surface to witte, that it your perogative. We will discuss this in more detail during the 8 April general membership meeting and the how to get there, etc.
